Im shure that most of you could have thought about this.
There is always some nagging feeling that you have that says:
What if they were right?
Im I gonna die at Armagaddon?
Its just human nature I guess.
How do you put that silly nagging feeling out of your mind?
Come on, tell us your secret.

p.s In anticipation of humerous responces I put this thread in the Jokes and Humor section. But that dosent mean that this can be a serious thread though.
The Bible is a two edged sword wield it for evil and it you may get hurt.
The answers to all thos questions are negatory. However, the wt does have some truths. Other religions, also have some, even more than the wt has. The catholics and hindus have much more truth than does the wt. Why don't you explore those two religion and their histories??
I used to get that feeling. Now, after studying the Bible with open eyes, and seeing what a bunch of liars the WTS is... well...
And compound that with finding out how many other lies they have told, and the ones that they are telling right now, like in connection with the United Nations scandal....
But what i really want to know is how peole deal with that nagging dissonat feeling.
I know i'm right but I dont think that i'm to proud that it may not be impossible for myself to be in error. And given the magnitude of the decision knowing how other people deal with it could give me some peace of mind.
Again I say
I know that they are wrong but...
Is there any way that you could think of that they could be right?

ps I tend to lean towards orthodox protestant so Catholic is out for me.
The Bible is a two edged sword wield it for evil and it you may get hurt.
I'm not suggesting joining anything, just a general study to get a bigger picture. There are truths scattered all over. Study protetantism, catholicism, hinduism like you would einstein, hawking, evolution or science. Why commit to a set of doctrines? You are jerome. You don't need any other label. As you feel more secure, you will have less need to identify w a group. Groups always want conformity in some way or another, so you loose freedom. Do you want more freedom or less?
Your question: Is there any way the the Watchtower could be true?
My answer: No: Do I have little nagging feelings that I might be missing something by leaving the Watchtower?
Yes: The same way that a battered wife 'misses' her abusive spouse for a few years after they seaparate. The same way that abused children 'miss' their abusers when they finally leave home.
Why would I have such nagging thoughts when I don't believe what they teach? Why should I have nagging doubts when I don't believe that the Bible is an inspired piece of work. The Watchtower publications are a myth, just like the foundation of their myths, that is, the Bible.
Jerome, it is one myth built on top of another myth, and that is all it is. Welcome to the real world.
If they have the truth, why do they have to use deception to prove it?
If they have the truth, why do they have to tell people that it is wrong to question it? If it is the truth, then it would no doubt stand up to doubt and questioning.
If they have the truth, I guess that is the whole point, they don't have the truth.
