What else can you expect from a religion that hates women? Despite the fact there are more women in the organization and they do the majority of the preaching work they are really barely tolerated. They are told to be submissive, to tolerate abuse and are not allowed any role in the congregation other than field service. Any baptized brother, even a child of six, is considered better than any sister, no matter how responsible, spiritually inclined, intelligent or talented.

If one questions the assertion that Rutherford saw himself as a self appointed demi-god for all mankind, all you have to do is read one of his books.
Its no wonder he was separated from his wife and had very little of a relationship with his son, the man was drunk on power and self adulation being the president and leader of Rutherford's Witnesses.

When I discovered the old books and Magazines written by Rutherford and Woodworth, my eyes were quickly oppened. So, I realized that the founders of the Watchtower policies were mentally ill. After that I decided to stop attending the meetings. -

JWs don't need one day on the calendar for mother! Every day is Mothers Day for JWs! Right?
And by "Mothers Day", I mean a day where door-to-door preaching and literatrash carts are the mother of all time-wasters.

So let me ask y'all this. Is this a holiday dubs are partly celebrating nowadays, like bdays and Thanksgiving? Or is the honoring anyone female still a total no-no?
