Any sufficiently sophisticated parody of fundamentalism is virtually indistinguishable from the real thing.

Some of it is funny. To me some of the baby/blood transfusion article was a little OTT and postentially very offensive. Shoot me down. It's ok by me. But if parents had been misled to take a stand on this doctrine and then read the joke that they were hoping to get some fame out of it, then I think that would be very hurtful. The whole blood thing is just crazy IMO and I recently posted a link to a good articel I read about it. however I know people who are hurting over this and I don't think rubbing peoples noses in the dirt if theyve lost a child is very kind.

As I say, I honestly thought some or the site was funny, but I just think that some sensitivity is appropriate.

Just my opinion though.

I must admit that mention of Andre would improve it. Perhaps a bio of Andre, detailing his world wide travel and many experiences. A photo would be a nice touch.

I really valued the article on the faithful young child shunning the cat. A real test of faith. If a child can be obedient when it is so hard, surely adults can as well. No excuses!

On the other hand, I'd find it easier to shun a dog. I'm not a dog person. So that would not be a real test.

Make no mistake: Satan tests us in all kinds of devious ways. Jehovah God rewards endurance. It's hard but the prospect of living forever in paradise makes it all worthwhile. My faith has been strengthened. Thank you so much!

We anxiously await the bloody slaughter of seven billion men, women, children and babies.We would allow our children to die painful, preventable deaths rather than treat them with blood. We go to the elders before we go to the police when we have evidence of sexual molestation. We fear Smurfs. We avoid independent thinking disguised as critical thinking. We shun when Jehovah says shun, even if it means we throw our unprepared children out onto the streets or let our parents die alone after they have sacrificed their entire lives for us.
