What proof do we have? How did we pass the inspection in 1919? (page 2)

Hi everyone! If you recall, I have a website that just posts all "old light" from JW's and then translates it in Spanish. The site is spreading like wildfire, I am consistently getting 300+ views, and the website was just started two weeks ago or so!

I am pretending to be a good JW, I delete any and all "apostate" comments but I notice that people ARE waking up... some are shocked, for example, when I post quotes from Watchtowers in 1922 or so still mentioning 1874 as Jesus's parousia.

Related to the topic: A JW sent me a message, to the page, asking me where I got the publications. I told him that I owned a large, digitized collection of almost all JW publications (which is true). He also asked me if I knew WHAT PROOF WE HAD THAT JESUS INSPECTED RELIGIONS FOR 4 YEARS, FROM 1914 to 1919.

I did not know what to say, since "blowing my cover" would severely compromise the page. I told him something that I hope would show him that no one understands things: "ask the elders in your own hall. If you yourself are an elder, ask other elders in your congregation."

Do you think that was a good answer? I am just passively reverse-witnessing, and people ARE waking up...

That's cool ILoveTTATT. I feel bad for those in languages that won't ever get access to the old stuff, unless sites pop up translating all of the old stuff.

And that is EXACTLY why I am doing what I am doing. As far as I know, I am the ONLY person anywhere who will translate/ has a translation of the Photodrama of Creation in Spanish.

The really cool thing that I am doing is that I am pretending that I am a "good JW" and that I am blissfully unaware that most things I will post will give most thinking JW's severe cognitive dissonance.

It's ironic how the role-playing makes a difference. I saw some Photodrama of Creation videos in Portuguese on Youtube, but I doubt most JW's will ever see it because the one who posted it has Ex-JW Brasil or something in his/her account name.

Since I am presenting it from a friendly, JW viewpoint, many will of course be incredibly eager to share it to all their JW friends (as has occurred), and they will see how wacky the teachings were, with everyone but really so with Russell and Rutherford.

Proof of how uneasy they were is that the first video I posted (an introduction) got 20 likes, the second video (which shows a slide with the signs of the zodiac) obviously made a lot uneasy... only three likes.

I am not commenting in a bad manner, and most people are THANKING ME for all this hard work... they have never, ever actually seen the Photodrama of Creation... and even if they Googled it, it would be in English.

@Legacy Why would the organization have worldwide publicity? 7 million people belong to a group around the globe. There are over 7 billion people around the globe. That is .1 percent of the world's total population. Who cares what Jehovah's Witnesses are doing. They get plenty of publicity but again, a child molestation case in an organization of 7 million people worldwide or child molestation cases in Catholicsim where there are over 1 billion members worldwide. Which news story is going to draw people's attention? And Jehovah's Witnesses have been exposed for many years, that is why every assembly has talks about not listening to apostates. But again, there are only 7 million of them, in the big picture, people outside the ORG couldn't care less.

There is no evidence whatsoever that there was a test given by Jesus in 1919 and they were the only ones that passed it. It is easy to ace a fantacy test that you made up. Unfortunately a good Jehovah's Witness never questions anything they say. They just accept it as truth.

I started a thread a while ago about the first instance of this idea , that there was an Inspection in 1919, in WT literature.

It was interesting that the earliest we could find between us was some years after 1919, so they didn't know they were being inspected, and they didn't know they had passed the test for years. Strange !

Also, no one could find a place where the teaching about 1919 is clearly explained in any way, in WT literature. Even stranger !

Many oblique references to "The Messenger coming to the Temple" based on Malachi, and many references to them having had the test in 1919, some of which say they passed, and others that they failed ! can be found, but no clear exposition.

The very foundation of the present day GB's claim to authority, and the basis for their ever more shrill and screeching demands for obedience and loyalty, the scriptural proof is simply not explained anywhere !
