EVIL SLAVE IS HYPOTHETICAL

The quotation used in today's WT study about the evil slave "being for all practical purposes, hypothetical", is taken from the NET Bible and was written by a Bible 'scholar' from Christendom!

    Three points:

    1. Jesus always spoke by means of illustrations & parables.

    2. Matthew 24:45-47 is a parable!

    3. All aspects of Jesus' parables and illustrations are 'hypothetical'!

Therefore,.............................. oh to hell with it, go figure it out for yourself!!!!!!

p.s. The answers given this morning were stomach churning; elderly ones who have believed one set of lies for decades, willingly ditched them and replaced them with another load of mind-numbing and convoluted dogma!

So when they have a piece of puzzle that just won't be hammered into the jigsaw, they throw the piece away as 'hypothetical' and for the first time ever the words of gods son means nothing, there was no value in him ssying it..... Despite it being a prophecy, that part of the account has NO relevance, according to 8 uneducated men in a factory in Brooklyn.

    ROFL

    What a joke.

P.s. I personally believe all the bible is hypothetical, I laugh because 8 men say they have a special means to differentiate what is and isnt hypothetical and 8 million people believe them. Wow humans are interesting....

How can it be hypothetical in one sentence, but literal in another? How do we know the faithful slave is not hypothetical as well? I know it's an illustration, but it is there to help explain a concept. I hear the GB's minds crying out," Lord, Lord!! Did we not perform great works in your name?! We MUST be the FDS!?" They MUST be, because anything else means there life is a lie. They have painted themselves into a corner.

I have heard some say that Jesus could be the Faithful Slave of his own parable. Moses did prefigure Jesus, and Moses was a faithful attendant of the house. Hebrews 3:5,6 says, " And Moses as an attendant was faithful in all the house of that One as a testimony of the things that were to be spoken afterwards, 6 but Christ [was faithful] as a Son over the house of that One.We are the house of that One, if we make fast our hold on our freeness of speech and our boasting over the hope firm to the end." Jesus also said his Father's house has many abodes, and he was going to prepare them. Hmmmm?

If this is the case, then the GB really are part of the anti-christ. They have undertaken a hostile takeover of God's house. At any rate, their interpretation is nonsensical.

How wt explains it, it could well be that they thenselves become this evil slave.

When I think about their bloodguilt because of the blood doctrin, the lack of love and natural affection they promote through the disfellowshipping and shunning, I think they already became that evil slave.

They wrote that Jesus will decide if that slave will be faithful or evil. But at the same time they say that they are faithful. That's like a school kid who was writing an exam and says "My exam is the best" before the teacher even looked at it.

What is the general consensus among "scholars?" Do they ALL think these verses are hypothetical? Well, an illustration is always hypothetical, right? You make a hypothetical statement to make someone think or to explain a concept?

" If everyone jumped off of a bridge, would you?!" That's a hypothetical statement to make us think about the choice to follow a crowd.

Jesus could be consider a faithful and wise steward of the Father. Fallen angels would not be faithful and wise servants. A human could be a faithful and wise servant, or not, depending on their actions. I would like to know if the GB think that the slave who does not understand the Master's will and does not do it, is also hypothetical? Is the punishment hypothetical? If there is no chance to be an evil slave, then why worry about a judgment? What's with all the frantic printing of literature and door knocking?

Also, the GB teaches that there is no " once saved, always saved " teaching in the Bible. Evidently, (tm) They do believe in " ONCE SLAVED, ALWAYS SLAVED."

    Parable:

    1. a short allegorical story designed to illustrate or teach some truth, religious principle, or moral lesson.

    2. a statement or comment that conveys a meaning indirectly by the use of comparison, analogy, or the like.

    AKA fable, allegory, homily

    Prophecy:

    1. the foretelling or prediction of what is to come.

The WT has been converting parables into prophecies for quite a long time now, creating 'paraphecies' (or is that 'propables'?).

While keeping the desirous (reward) good outcome, now they're trying to downplay or even eliminate the (punishment) bad outcome of the parable, since who ever heard of a prophecy with two possible outcomes?

No one, since it's NOT a prophecy, but a PARABLE.

Besides that, it's pretty damning admission by WTBTS of being OUTSIDERS, by using one of Jesus' parables to apply to themselves, since Jesus admitted using parables only when speaking to the public (unbelievers, AKA outsiders):

Mark 4:10 10 Later, when Jesus was alone with the twelve disciples and with the others who were gathered around, they asked him what the parables meant. 11 He replied, “You are permitted to understand the secret of the Kingdom of God. But I use parables for everything I say to outsiders, 12 so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled: ‘When they see what I do, they will learn nothing. When they hear what I say, they will not understand. Otherwise, they will turn to me and be forgiven.’ ” Of course, the parables confused the Godly "insiders", too (i.e. the 12 disciples), such that they had to ASK Jesus what the parables meant afterwards. You'd THINK the guys with the insider information would not be confused by Jesus' parables, too? Jesus might want to work a few of the kinks out of some of those intentionally-confusing parables (AKA intentionally talking in a forked tongue to obsfucate; who does that kind of thing, again?). BTW, you've got to appreciate Jesus' demonstrating self-awareness of intentionally trying to fulfill OT prophecies for the Jewish Messiah. That's almost as bad as the GB trying to force themselves to fit INTO Jesus' parables to FULFILL his prophecies, LOL!

It's fun to look at t he Christian apolegetics attempting to 'spin' for Jesus, eg:

https://www.bible.com/notes/874995/i-use-parables-for-outsiders-jesus-says Jesus did not reveal everything to everyone. He purposely spoke in parables in order to teach the Godly and confuse the unbelievers. Why would He do this? Shouldn't everyone be told so they can believe? Frankly no, these unbelievers would only try to use Jesus' words to trap Him. I think many times in the church we are so desperate to win souls we forget this lesson. I've seen many Bible debates and I've never seen a soul won during a single arguement. I've seen unbelievers, of every nature, trying to debunk or poke fun of Christ. They use information given by over zealous soul winners, which in turn makes Christianity look foolish. This is God's Holy and almighty word.

More true than the writer realizes....

    Just a side issue:

I had to answer, to highlight a blatantly ludicrous assertion made by the GB - that Jesus came in 1919, found them faithful, and gave them some of his possessions to look after. But when he comes back to judge at the time of the end, he examines them again and finds them so faithful again, he puts them in charge of everything else!! Rowan & Martin's Laugh In comes to mind!!

The master himself is not delaying. how did some come to that conclusion?

so Who Took* it upon himself, has ever tried to read the masters mind, make up the masters mind ? and

have the means proclaim such insights?

The answer to these question are empirical evidence, can be verified, replicated.

The Evil Slave idea is not a mere Theory, it is a proven fact relevant at any time even during, before after the elusive masters' coming, arrival, present, sitting down standing up ---.
