I'm disfellowshipped. My sister is really into this place and told me to come to this board and read everyone's comments. We've all had pretty similar experiences it sounds like. I have not developed any ties with a religion since I left the witnesses, have any of you? If not, do you feel like you should?

Welcome! I currently am not going to meetings and not to any other church, although I would like to find a group of bible believing people to study with someday.(church?)It still is hard because I still believe in some of the witness teachings, sometimes feel like going back. musky

Welcome!
Some people here do connect with another religion. Some don't need an organization to feel a connection with god. Some reject the concept of there being a god at all.
As for myself, I am agnostic with atheistic tendencies .

WELCOME GLORY!! I've never been a JW but enjoy most of the posts on this board. I have a JW friend for the past several years and I'm trying to figure out what makes this person tick. They bring up religion constantly, but when I ask some tough questions, this person won't talk to me for a couple of weeks, like I was possessed or something. I've been enlightened by this board tremendously.
As for me, I been to several Christian Churches and am a total believer in the existance of an Awesome God, One that people are always trying to explain (or unexplain) according to their own biases.
