    Faithful Witness:

I'm also willing to bet the blessed app will include some spyware And there will be lots of automatic updates, and maybe they will grant themselves access to your cloud!

You clearly don't understand the application environments of operating systems on mobile devices.

Just a thought. You might compare it against Olivetree, another bible app. Olivetree allows for bookmarks, and has an almost unlimited supply of translations (for a fee). KJV is free of course.

So I can't get it for my Nokia Windows phone - gutted :-)

It's also available (or will be available) for Windows 8 mobile. Lucky you.

Jeffro, you're absolutely correct. I'm not a programmer. My husband is, but not yet in this environment. I spoke out of turn, and didn't mean to falsely accuse or suspect that the WTS would ever be guilty of any wrongdoing. it is actually good news that they are now pushing the JW's to go electronic. They will have more information in front of them. That is good.

I admit, I do love a conspiracy. I didn't mean to start any rumor or malicious gossip. I will make no more mention of my suspicions And personal observations.

I'm still not going to install this app. I think we have an assumption of privacy, that does not exist. Teenagers today have been raised on the Internet and are so used to every detail anod photo being shared with the world, they won't even blink when they realize what it happening. The WTS is already looking forward to the new generation.

It will be interesting to see how this all unfolds.
