Why would she want to leave in the first place?

The organization does all her thinking for her and all she would have is an empty room in her head if she left.

She's better off where she is now because at least the room is full even if it is brimming with dried manure.

Today she called to make plans to go out in service. Yesterday she wanted to leave. It makes no sense at all.

It does sound more like a mental or personality disorder assuming she really did mean what she said to you.

Or maybe her way of dealing with cognitive dissonance is to reject it and throw herself into the ministry hoping it will pass?

Have you asked her why she is a JW, and why she believes it is the truth? It seems she just is, and has never given it serious consideration.
