We got home earlier today from celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary. We had a blast. Walked aroung Gatlinberg. Hung out people watching at the Ole Smokey Moonshine Holler. Took a gondola ride. Had a great steak dinner for our anniversary. Some how my hubby was able to figure out which cross and chain I had bought for myself but ended up taking them back as I had thought I had made a huge mistake buying them for myself. How he figured out whichcross and chain I bought took a bit of work on his part as I blacked out the UPC # off the orginal recepts. You have no idea how suprised I was and how touched I was by this gesture. Since I am not a jw and can only celebrate our anniversary with him he put so much into this weekend for me I believe that this will hold me until next year.

That was a lovely surprise. I'm very happy for you, but I hope you don't have to wait another year for a kind gesture from him, especially after he took such a dump all over you in the beginning of this episode.

This is strange behaviour and your husband doesn't seem concerned about it, you should speak to someone about it.

Good for him that he made the effort and very unjw to purchase a religious icon. Your behaviour is a little extreme and perhaps you should think about that. Why block out the upc what is the point? Why would it even matter if you took the item back snd if you purchased it in the first place?
