Poor guy , he doesnt know the name jehovah was an invention by a catholic monk in the 13th century inserting vowels to the tetragramatton to arrive at that name.Their is no J in the old hebrew alphabet , y is the best equivalent .That is why some translations of the bible use the names yermiah ,yosef , etc. or their equivalent.
In the book of Acts it was decreed by" divine providence" that followers of jesus were to be identified as" christians" not jehovahs witnesses.
Also the scripture that witnesses quote Isa.43:10 You are my witnesses is the utterance of {tetragrammaton } etc.etc. Strange isnt it, from that time on the jews never identified themselves as jehovahs witnesses even to this day.

I've just posted a couple of questions to him, to ask if he believes two specific teachings of the Org. Asked him to compare what the Bible says - to let him see the truth about them.
If he is a Witness, then he clearly hasn't read 1 Peter 3:15, regarding how to give answers about your faith!!
