When push come to shove dealing with witnesses or Elders one could just say 'I follow Christ and not the teaching of Rutherford" of course the elders or whom ever your talking to will be shocked and wondering what the hell your talking about because we of course follow christ REALLY?

Jesus; said in John chapter 6, 'one must eat of his flesh in order to have life'. Rutherford; "Dont do it, only us anointed sons of God can"

Jesus ; said in Matt 12 "anyone doing the will of my father is my brother and so is a son of God" Rutherford "nope"

Jesus; said in John chapter 3 'one must be born again in order to see the kingdom of God'. Rutherford; 'No you can see the kingdom of god no problem, but just out side the inner temple'

Jesus; Said in Matt 23 'you must not exalt yourselves' Rutherford ' Yes you can infact we are the true religion of god, better then all those other christian religions'

Jesus said 'Do not Judge' Rutherford; 'all other christians religions and their followers are part of Babylon the Great, Christendom, and they and their followers are all going to die'

Jesus said in Luke 21'do not follow ones that declare 'The time/end is near' Rutherford, 'The time is near, the time is near'

So you see, the JW can know way be the true religion of God because they do not follow Christ. Infact Jah said "This is the one I approve, listen to him!

If you can think of more things Jesus told us to do and the JW's do not, please add to the list for the newbies and lurkers. Thanks

Well, here's the thing, HOW do you get someone to see this? Yes, it's true, but how can you wake someone up? Sometimes the hardest part is just waiting around for some JW to question the WTBTS. There is an old Chinese proverb, " When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." So maybe our job is to just be here. I also think the reverse is true, " When the Master is ready, the student will appear." The more we learn concerning TTATT, the more "students" we can reach. If we become complacent, then we will miss opportunities to share TTATT.

Speaking about the timing of the establishment of the kingdom, Jesus said "It does not belong to YOU to get knowledge of the times or seasons which the Father has placed in his own jurisdiction". Rutherford: 'We know the time, it's 1914'.

Jesus, when speaking about the observance of God's sabbath, espoused the following principles: "I want mercy and not sacrifice" and "the sabbath was made for man and not man for the sabbath". Rutherford's policy of having JWs die instead of accept a life-saving blood transfusion effectively espouses opposite principles: "I want sacrifice and not mercy" and "life was made for blood and not blood for life" (i.e. blood is more important than life).

But Luke 21:8 is a real kicker when you read it in the ESV:

"And he said, “See that you are not led astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and, ‘The time is at hand!’ Do not go after them. "

Jesus said not to go after those saying 'The Time is at Hand!'. C.T. Russell published a book of false end time predictions entitled . . . "The Time Is At Hand"!!!

I was just thinking about this today and how JW's don't follow christ, so i thought i would just list all the areas that i know they dont follow the things Jesus said and list the book and chapter where it can be found. I was just thinking of a easy way to share TTATT with newbies that would make sense from the bible. Thats all!

Thats a good one Island Man, did not know he publish a book with that title. I also like the New King James version of Luke 21:8 "Take heed that you not be deceived, For many will come in My name, saying I am Christ (means anointed one) and The time has drawn near. Do not go after them."

The problem is, most faithful Jehovah's Witnesses view the Governing Body as a quorum that speaks for Jesus/Jehovah. When Jesus said, "Those who have seen me hath seen the Father" wasn't a literal way of saying they were both physically the same Being; but, rather, that the two were so one in purpose and unity that when Jesus speaks for the Father, it's the same. No one can put a wedge in between them or expect one to say or do anything different than the other under the same circumstances.

The GB has taken the position that if they say or determine something relating to God or the Society, if you've heard from them, you've heard from Jehovah. I don't honestly know whether they believe they're God's chosen servants or not, but the GB has been very bold about flaunting its members' alleged callings amongst Society members, likening themselves with the apostles of old.

DD: I agree with your analysis. It is impossible to reach someone who is not ready to hear the truth. I am in a holding pattern, waiting for the time when I will be needed. In the meantime, I am learning about how mind control works, how to reach people, and I am trying to keep up with the current words and warnings coming from the tower.

The time is at hand, indeed! Welcome to the Information Age.

The light has become so bright, it is a spotlight, pointed directly at the Watchtower. We are all standing outside, watching the leadership lashing out like the trapped beast it has become. The Watchtower is big and powerful, but the internet is much bigger.

" The true religion of God " was for all tense and purposes a self avowed and coercive marketing scheme

propagated by the WTS. Corporation, something that was calculated and devised to support the proliferation of this organization's

    published goods.

..... and the men who started this oorganization had all the open unrestrained ability to do that under American version of religious freedom act.

Freedom of religion in a capitalistic society brings forth many diverse variations of acts of Charlatanism.
