  Whether they admit or not, and whether they realize it not, they DO, since they believe in Jesus who was a demi-God, just like Hercules of Greek mythology was, and all the other demigods from Greek and Roman pagan mythology. They insist all the others are FAKEY, but not their Jesus: he is REAL!

  When the Jews ran off into the caves of Pella after Jerusalem was ruined by Roman armies only the superstitious pagans were left to

  believe the Jesus stories. Naturally, they brought their own mostly Greek Platonic ideas to bear on their understanding of him.

  The NT is saturated with a hybrid of Jewish monotheism and later pagan Platonic demi-god assertions.

  This is why it is so easy to bothe "prove" and disprove the Trinity.
