Can we start over with new topics such as practical ones about how to format on JWN and posting problems and solutions.

Historical posts such as those on Rutherford and Russell?

    Doctrinal adjustments/changes

    Reference sources

    You tubes

If that could be set up, what would you like to see?

Does this mean members will be able to access the best of section? I can only access it when I sign out.

I think the best of section does need a tidy and could incude both content and how-to's

The ultimate goal is for the best topics to be based on user rankings. Not just a 'like' button which can be misused and tend to promote popular things rather than best but something along those lines, maybe a limited amount of kudos that people can award.

Some badges for the people who put the effort into curate things would be good too.

The access issue is weird, I'll have a look into that.

Best of Topics has had buggy code for years. I used to have tricks to get around the code problems, but they don't work now.

I actually think that we could let the forum itself handle the process. Namely, someone starts a thread like "Candidate for Best Of: Rutherford history" and then proposes in their OP a certain thread. That would give interested parties time to suggest alternate threads that might have more info, or another half of the story. After all, we all have threads in our posting history that we can review, and which many people may not know about until the subject comes up for discussion.
