It would have made of real impression if Jehovah even existed.
Why should saving 2,000,000 lives mean anything to God that kills the children of the parents who
supposedly did something wrong ?
Just a side note, the ancient Hebrews were not the only ancient civilization that thought blood held some sacredness to it,
a lot of the so called pagans thought so too..
Probably since these people didn't know what blood was other than the fact that when a animal or human had its blood drained out
through intention or unintentional means the life abruptly stopped.
