Watchtower admonitions against unofficial pro-JW websites

Obviously the Bethel subverts are attempting to close down a 2 billion person web field, and to hide their own evil activities recorded in probably a million websites. Now written word is no longer "public declartion", so in this innovation opportunity the Bethel "evil slave" will make no new adjustments that would improve the ministry and reach millions of people worldwide 24/7/365 - but now it is a polluted ministry anyways, best if people stay out of the doomed Bethel organization.

Thus Bethel actually promotes their own lawlessness on-line by ordering JWs to make no retort to things that obviously have no actual valid rationale as Bethel is just a spiritually criminal network with even literal sexual crimes under their belt as well. All the admonition to stay clear of the web minimizes the connection to "evil slave" and "man of lawlessness" activity connected strongly to Bethel and prophecy minimizing JWs understanding and exposure to such evidence.

The Kingdom Hall "inquisition" minimizes lawless evidence and whistleblowing in te congregations, and shunning further minimizes any Bethel accidental or purposeful exposure as the lawless element "in the temple". Keeping JWs overly focused on organizational busy body work and gnat staining minutia also minimizes JWs coming across Bethel's damning evidence.

The whole thing all together is orchestrated to conceal Bethel's lawlessness as connected to prophecy of their foretold doom in due time, so they can still feed off of JW millions in the meantime with no abrupt discontinuation of resources feeding the Bethel elites. The "we have the truth" act and veneer, merely parrots the JW past to cover up the current criminal atmosphere now terminal and systemic at Bethel. In every form, Bethel is not what it appears to be on first or second glance.

When did watchtower change their tune on the internet? When it was new they were 100% against it. Now theyve embraced it and push people there

    @ WIZARDCA -

The truth is that the Org has recognised for several years that the Internet represents the single greatest threat to its contined growth/existence/income, therefore it has repeatedly issued strong 'direction' to the flock to avoid certain websites. However, with the introduction of JW.ORG, the direction has become unambiguous - "If you are loyal Witnesses, you will not visit any website other than JW.ORG for information on the Org or Bible research." Looking ahead, (because more & more are seeing the skeletons in the WTBTS cupboard) I genuinely believe that an edict will be issued from the GB soooooooon, stating that visiting websites which feature criticism of "God's direct channel of communication on earth" will be viewed as being no different from associating with apostates, thereby rendering the individual liable to disciplinary/disfellowshipping proceedings.

They know that even pro-witless boards can become apostate boards, especially if the owner sees too much apostasy and realizes that the apostates are the sensible ones. The owners have to go through these posts to delete the bad ones, and if the "bad" ones make sense, the board can become an apostate board.

Of course, the real reason is that the washtowel wants people to waste time and money in field circus. Why else would they be ordering people to cut back on their secular work now, when things are about to blow up? Hyperinflation, energy crisis, rolling blackouts, spot shortages of food (and maybe even widespread shortages), the sick care law--obviously, they want people to be miserable and destitute. Otherwise, they would never request people to take the long, wasteful route to getting the message out. They would realize that one web site can reach as many people as the servers allow, plus be mirrored. Going door to door, you waste gas and time to reach one household at a time. Nice way to ensure destitution in hyperinflation, and Disaster if we get rolling blackouts and a severe energy crisis.

The power or influence that keeps members of the Society from reading other religious views other than their own is one of the most crucial to maintaining the Organization.

The position of the Governing Body against competing views (even those favorable to the Outfit) is crucial to the integrity of the chain of command. It wasn't too long ago that the anointed were the "faithful and discreet slave." Now, everyone but the GB is "indiscreet." My how times have changed!

    But what of Luke 9:

And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devisl in thy name; and we forbade him, because he followeth not with us. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us. (vvs. 49-50)

Did Jesus warn his disciples correctly or does the Governing Body's advice make more sense?

Noticeably, there have been a number of individuals who have created Web sites ostensibly to preach the good news. Many of these sites are sponsored by indiscreet brothers. Other sites may be sponsored by apostates who wish to lure unsuspecting ones.

Any intelligent person could most likely spot an anti-JW site inside of 5 or 10 minutes and could simply bail out if they wished. But whose welfare is the Governing Body most concerned about? And do they make it a disciplinary issue when one reads the religious tracts of other religions? Isn't the greatest of all God's principles that of free agency? Of choosing good over evil?

Yet, as Londo pointed out, that's not the way the GB sees it:

What is involved in avoiding false teachers? We do not receive them into our homes or greet them. Wealso refuse to read their literature, watch TV programs that feature them, examine their Web sites, or add our comments to their blogs. Why do we take such a firm stand? Because of love. We love “the God of truth,” so we are not interested in twisted teachings that contradict his word of truth.

As Mark Twain pointed out, only editors and people with tapeworm should use the term "we." Apparently even those among the so-called anointed class is no longer included in the "we" of leadership. Regardless, it seems their tone is patronizing to say the least. But what is most troublesome is the way many JWs fear their own leaders and the disciplinary action that can be meted out.

It's fantastic that the GB insists that there must be only one "official" pro-JW website. Any Internet search for information about JWs brings up a deluge of pages revealing TTATT.

There is no need for any individual, committee, or congregation to prepare a Web page about Jehovah’s Witnesses.

This is one of the crafty ways they give a directive, using "people with weak consciences take advantage of conscience matters to do the most liberal thing" as a manipulation tool.

"There is no need" is not a command per se, but it is a good thought stopper. Like this:

resurrected ones will not marry...There is no reason now to overemphasize this matter.

Cold Steel: Maybe they're gettin' ready to monetize their site soon and they want the hits all to themselves.

    Brother Jason,

I have been faded for over a year now, awake for almost two. The reason I posted this is a friend inquired, but I don’t have the CD-ROM library anymore. I knew that there were many people who had these references handy.
