I SO would hang out with the adult unbaptized females you mentioned lol! I'm sure they'd be down for other fun activities other than smokin' a doobie
Well I must say I am not surprised in the slightest. Just very entertained. My 20yr old mixed with ones of similar mentality, they don't read the magazines and prepare for meetings, they are in it for the social life. And what a social life it is, some of the baptised ones are having sex with each other before marriage, going to Brixton night clubs after Thursday meetings etc etc
My 20 yr old realised this was not the "truth" for this reason amoung others. A big huge farce

I'll be damned. Witness Rumspringa.
The sad part is that while they seem to be very liberal and half of them will probably never get baptized... They all are likely damaged by the cult in one way or another. Rebelling against the restrictive rules is one thing, but a lifetime of studies, meetings and assemblies has likely left them all with baggage that they won't be able to figure out. They will have huge amounts of guilt later on in life.
Sounds like they're on their way out. This is good.
Great story. It's typical of teens to avoid baptism just in case they do some fornicating, but they hold the beliefs to be true. It's kind of strange when it's people past the teen years.
I pity such people. They are similar to disfellowshipped ones that never do their own spiritual journey of research, but they are probably happier- what with birthdays and marijuana. I don't pity them for their lifestyle, but I pity them in that some of them will probably one day think it's time to get serious and return to proper worship.
Yes the women that were smoking then joint were aged 32 and 36 respectively and had childrenq of their own.
I managed to inject some real dossonance into their minds as the contorted expressions after my little speech showed.

Doesn't it just show that people "born-in " learn how to adapt and survive over the years without going crazy
or losing their social life or family ? They have learned that resistance is futile.
To think is painful.. so they just chill out and enjoy what they can in life.
Denial and relaxation are the only things that save your sanity
Ignorance isn't just bliss ... it is a life saver ... well at least for now... "living in the moment"
Have a drink and worry tomorrow !!
