Search on YouTube for videos from 'Potholer54'. He's an ex-science journalist and his videos are very informative and often funny as well.
I beleive in God. For me it wasn't based on anything I read on a website. It was my love and knowledge of chemistry that brought me to my conclusion. However many I have met, studied and worked with have similar knowledge but different beliefs.
I am not interested in biology, hence I have never read anything Dawkins has written, and I don't think I will. I have seen a internet youtube clip, from that small snippet of him, I think he is arrogant and sanctimonious. But I may change my mind in the future.
IMO finding hobbies and interests can help us contemplate and find the answers to our questions, reading is good, but so is having experiences. Not everything that is written is credible, we know this from our experience from the BOrg.

I have been reading everybody's post. I just want to add; What if the Bible God Jehovah is not really the loving god all think he is? What if this Jehovah god was created by an "androgenous" being and was created away from the entirety of the True God, and what if this jehovah god was created or emanated from the shadow or darkness rather than the light, and so was in a sense a "blind god" thinking he was the only creation,and in his ignorance and his arrogance he said, with his power, "It is I who am God; there is none apart from me." When he said this, he sinned against the entirety And this speech got up to incorruptibility; then there was a voice that came forth from incorruptibility, saying, "You are mistaken, Samael" - which is, "god of the blind." and went on to create others who were dark and blind like himself and he created more darkness, corruption and chaos which resulted the creation of matter and our own universe, which is entirely made up of matter. Then what if he and all his other created beings also took part in his desire to create matter and chaos, and that after the earth was created, they decided to take physical matter and mold it into molded beings which resulted in their creation of human? What if this dark blind god said to the other beings he created already "let us make man in our image"? What if after the first humans were molded from the earth, but had no spark of life yet, This was all being watched by the androgenous god as well as all other beings in the Pleroma of the True God?
