That doesn't mean she is mentally out and won't want to run back to the bOrg with your babies when something triggers her. People don't always drop out for good reasons and the reasons you've given here won't mean shit in the future if she thinks Jehovah's going to kill her babies.
Blacksheep, I fear that. I fear that deep in her mind she will go back to the JW's... so it's something to think about. But for now we are just dating so... I will chill...
HI ILoveTTATT, Has your GF read Steve Hassan's book "Combatting Cult Mind Control" (or his other books)? If she has and you talk about how she feels about what Steve Hassan wrote, she will be less likely to be a JW. I cannot imagine any woman preferring being a good JW wife versus being an individual who critically thinks for themself.

Oh crap... I hope it didn't!!
So I send an e-mail to elder in city B, thinking that my cards are in city B, only to find out that he doesn't have my cards!! Apparently, the elders in Mexico never sent them to him!
So I am wondering if the elders in Mexico ever sent the cards, or if my cards are back in the hall I was in before Mexico, or where they are...
Any ex-elders or people who know the elder's book that can help me here? What is standard procedure?

Now there's at least 4 congregations involved!! Let them chase after each other!!
I REALLY hope they are not back in the hall where I was before I went to Mexico... I really hated that congregation, there were some nasty, mean elders in there...
There is one in particular that just about everyone dislikes, he is a veritable A$$hole... He changed the congregation's spirit into negativity and pharisaic-like attitudes that two years after he came to Canada, almost half the Spanish congregation had left and gone to English congregations.
Probably Suavojr will understand how much of an insult it was to the congregation that after the CO visit, the local needs part FOR A SPANISH CONGREGATION was "Show more love"... and the irony of it was that THAT elder gave the talk....
The elders in Mexico were much, much nicer. Perhaps all the margaritas and years of being retired does soften you... plus a lot of the elders there had some crazy pasts... divorced and remarried three times, some did a lot of drugs, etc... The stuff I did was pretty tame compared to their pasts. Exactly the same problems I had in Canada... in Canada the JC reproves me publicly... in Mexico there is no JC, just two elders, slap in the wrist, prayer, and don't do it again!

Sorry, TTATT but the truth is some will stay no matter what you do. If you leave and make it clear that you are never coming back period I tell them why trust me it will wake the ones up the are going to be woken up. The rest are going to right you off as scum no matter what you do. All you are doing is making yourself miserible for nothing.
Talk about some drama... the situation with your cards is a perfect scenario to slow things down. Depending on how bad they want to get you, will determine if they move fast or not. (I am talking from a similar experience)
If you want to stay alive as an awaken JW you have to put on the executive business man persona, take all of your emotions out and be ready to win or loose. You have to look at these WT agents like the clowns they are and simply control your emotions but don't let them screw with your heart. The master trick behind religion is how they target our most vulnerable part, our hearts.
Yes, I can undertsand how offensive a talk about showing more love would be in a spanish congo. But from my own experience I have been in spanish congo's that show zero love.
