    E-man,

I think you have paradise on earth - 200 yards from the pub and 300 yards from the ocean. Life doesn't get much better than that!

I, too, wish you would bring back the beer mug. I makes me feel like I have a soul brother on the other side of the pond.

Maybe throwing around the concept of power from the stations for six months helped some of the scientists get laid. I'm not into the math, either. Getting laid, i can understand. A hundred foot tidal wave, that's over the top, any way you look at it.

    Larc,

You are very kind, however I do live in quite a built-up area in a Victorian semi-detatched house, plus I can't park our cars off the street. So it's not paradise, but it does suit me very well indeed. I was lucky enough to be able to buy a small plot of land at the back of our house which means we can hold barbies and parties when the summer nights come along.

Yep, yep, yep, you have to keep your priorities straight.

Come, fill the cup, and in the fire of spring
    Your winter-garment of repentance fling:

To flutter--and the bird is on the wing.

Hey E-man, I was at Weston-super-M just a few weeks ago, visiting my parents who live near Bristol, with my kids.Saw a 'biker friendly pub' was that your local by any chance? We'll be back in the summer. Take care to-night. I hope the donkeys are OK.

    Hi Meat Pie,

You must mean "Scally's" pub, just very close to the sea-front. I,m within half a mile of there.

Now let me get this right.....

....200 yards from the pub and 300 yards from the beach. Does this mean the tide will swamp the pub? Don't you think it would be your civic duty to move the precious amber away from harm? Mustn't let it spoil.

    Cheers,
    Ozzie

I am 150 yds from the pub and 400 yds from the sea front,so the Eman gets flooded before I do,chuckle.
