Julia , I find this to be an interesting topic because of my experiences as a witness. Before I was a witness age 20 , I was intolerant of "gays" I had no time for them , not that I personally knew any. A couple of years after learning the "truth" (I hate that phrase ) we discovered that my brother in law was homosexual . Neither my wife or I treated him any differently than any other member of the family , all non witnesses of course .And because we lived in a different state we only saw any of them, for the most part when we visited ,which we did on a yearly basis .He was never a jw so we saw no reason to shun him , if that was even done back then . I didnt agree with gays , I didnt support gays ,and I didnt condemn gays, even with a couple of incidents of DF because they were gay , though I never had contact with them anyway after the announcement. Now what I think is a stange thing.
Oh I forget we do have a nephew who was a witness once who is gay and we do not treat him any differently from any other family member either.
Donkeys years ago my wife and I were at a drive in theatre watching a movie I cant remember what it was ,and an erotic scene came on and I was aroused , it turned out to be a female impersonator/transvestite whatever ,and I was literally sick to my stomach thinking it was a woman.
The weird thing is if their is a movie with two women getting it off/ on it does not sicken me , but can be a turn on. I find that weird .
