Advice on field service needed.

OOPS...sorry. So anyway... I have this friend who is fading. He got in trouble for telling the Eldumbs that they make up unscriptural rules for appointing Brothers in the KH. He mentioned the "10 hrs per month for a year rule" to get recommended for MS. He goes through several Eldumb meetings and tries to reason on certain points, all to no avail.
One particular point was this: If a Brother meets all the Scriptural qualifications in the book of Timothy, but is a little lacking in field service, will that cause him to be passed over? The Eldumb in charge said, " YES.. it could, it could." My friend decided to just play along and get the hell out of there before he was df'd.
So fast-forward to now. My friend's CO is visiting soon. This is the very same CO who was called in because of apostasy charges on my friend. So an Eldumb keeps texting my friend telling him that his field service reports have been lost for the last 5 Months. The Eldumb needs this time... So should my friend make something up? Should he tell the Eldumbs to make something up for him, reminding them of the importance of service time? I mean, it's the measuring stick for spirituality!! Should we just be making up something so sacred?!?
So current or former Eldumbs [ no offence ], what is your advice? I am sure my friends Eldumbs are expected to give a report on him and his progress under the discipline of the Org, err..I mean Jehovah. What do you think? What would you do?

im not an elder/former elder, but i do know service hours are the biggest contributor to appointing brothers/giving brothers priveleges. if you do not get 6-8 hours every month, you will be removed from a MS. some more strict congs. may remove you from operating sound system/setting stage up/mics/etc. i was removed from mics due to getting only 1-2 hours a month, and was told this by two elders. so i lost all my "priveleges" due to a number that has no biblical basis, but is used to measure one's spirituality.

In my friends Congo, it's 10hrs a month, for an entire year. No averaging allowed. So if you get 5 hours one month and 15 the next, it doesn't really matter. You were not "visible" in service...

You can pencil whip a time slip or six.
It's ok to lie to Nazis.
I'm a former elder of 14 years, up until 2012.

Absolutely - the number one, no doubt, in every occasion, requirement to be appointed as MS or elder is, "what is his field service average?"
That is always, absoutely, the very first thing discussed when a name is mentioned. If the hours are "too low", discussion is shut down immediately.
Ranking not far behind is, "What are the field service averages of his family?" Again, a "too low" number shuts it down immediately.
Sometimes, on rare occasions, after lots of other stuff has been considered, the scriptural qualifications of 1 Timothy 3 are discussed.

So would just make something up to appease them? Is that better if your goal is to fade? Or would you make an issue out of it? My friend does not care about being an MS. He won't regurgitate WT nonsense from the platform.

DD,
Looks like they are trying to get him on something, anything. Is it possible as soon as he fudges the numbers, the last five months miraculously appear? Have they lost other publisher records?
DD, I am not an elder, I am a welder (woman elder lol). The point is from my experience I smell a rat. If he can't remember, that what he should tell them , if he can all well and good.
Love Kate xx

I'm not clear.
Did he turn in reports for those 5 months and they "got lost" or didn't he turn in anything at all?
