This is an awful and heart wrenching story, but doctors, nurses, social services and even the court staff are largely good willed. I have never seen otherwise in my experience.-snare
I am afraid I disagree with you on this one. I have had personal experience. Social workers in the UK are corrupt. My son has told his social worker repeadtedly his father, who he has been placed with, beats him. We have phtographic evidence of physical injuries.
But because I have ASD, he was placed with his abusive father. ASD, is not a mental health problem, it is a dvelopmental disorder. I had medical documents to back this up.
My kids told SWs what their dad was like, but no one is acting on their thoughts and feelings. The case is ongoing, it's been 3yrs and SWs have been covering up the domestic violence. The mental health angle is corrupt, and women still get sectioned when they shouldn't be like it was in the 40's and 50's.
I feel like I am stuck in the world of the WTBTS again, and everyone, (except Simon), thinks things are all fluffy and nice and above board.
SWs in the UK are just as corrupt as the GB. But if it doesn't affect you why on earth would you believe such horror's are going on in the UK?
