It is a nightmare. I told one sister that this couple, whi I'd texted specifically NOT to contact me, turned up on the doorstep last week. It was lunchtime and they are greedy little pioneer peeople. She said it was because they "cared" about me. Total crapola!! It's just plain rude. Effing morons.

LisaRose – I was one of those who ignored the No Soliciting signs. If a householder pointed it out I would say something like “Oh, we’re not selling anything.” I only remember once the householder yelled “YOUR SELLING YOUR GOD!” and slammed the door. I would never go when I saw a No Trespassing sign. I like that last sign you mentioned. If I ever come across one of those, I may get it.

I had some fun. I was called to my JC, when loads of JWs were still in the hall. They all wanna know what's goin' on. So when I came out my JC meeting I had a fake phone converstaion. I siad
"Yeah I am but don't tell anyone"
I then texted a sister who threw me under the bus.
"Great news, but don't tell anyone not even your hubby"

Ha. Have fun with it. I wish I did. I had elders who thought I went off the deep end refuse to believe it. It took them over a month to announce my resignation.
It only matters to communicate with them if you want to know where you stand, and if the deed was finally done. If it doesn't matter, I would wear a Santa outfit every evening this month just in case they come by.
