Lol thanks guys. No no drugs or swinging. Surprisingly my wife can drop smoking cold turkey anytime...it gery strange. The point is somethings winding her up...probably all these movies weve been watching (hunger games, equilibrium, blood diamond, etc) .....just gotta keep poking and prodding. (Not the 3-4 hour love session type of way, i mean TTATT)

Ok smoking is one of the 100 ultimate signs of leaving JWs, but it's bad for her health!!!! Help her to give it up.
It's also an easy way to get DFd if you're hoping to just slowly fade...........

Yeah, you might want to talk to her about her intentions while letting her know you are there for HER before the org.
Also, when I was feeling neglected by ex, angry, made, crisis of faith etc-I did some stupid things that I regret. Some silly things that I am a little blushy about and some wrong things. Mid life crises can go either way, but I think havig a supportive spouse that sticks close would be the best thing. And I don't care about smoking so far as religion, but it is trashy and unhealthy and makes you stink. Help her find a safer way to rebel against the organization. Like buying lotto tickets or donating to the salvation army or joining the YMCA or something. And join, donate and scratch those tickets right along side of her, ok?

we watched out of the furnace last night...im sure thats under the list of unapproved movies lol.
i think im just going to tell her ive noticed a few things about her, the smoking yes but also how happy and free she has seemed lately. And maybe ask her why these have come about...and tell her that i like how happy she seems

Sounds good DS211. I would just tread carefully, don't say too much because she sounds very wound up. She's finding her own way out and she might not be ready for questions. They may make her think too much just at the moment. Cults are so much about feelings so following her heart to find her way out might be what she needs to do.

Go dancing,,ball room ,, plan something,,bowling,,movie out,, always on meeting nights,,short trips out of town, on the go always during meeting times. Sports, hikes. Volunteer for a worthwhile cause,,so many things to do.
