Number of anointed partakers in new yearbook?

    Everyone who reads the gospels and feels they should partake is doing what is expected of believers in Christ.

    If their belief is genuine how can their partaking not be genuine?

    Who really are Christ's brothers? (according to the Bible!)

    The Watchtower has totally butchered the truth about Jesus' brothers, beyond recognition, even using mistranslation to support their apostasy.

    Scripturally:

    • only "one hope" (which includes heaven and earth)

    • 144,000 is not a literal number (else only literal virgins qualify)

    • all humans will be equal (no hierarchies)

    • "rule upon" the earth (not over - compare Kingdom Interlinear Translation by WBTS, especially diagram of Greek prepositions)

    • rule in the sense of victorious over evil (not over other humans)

    Yes, a chance is that they will declare that all can partake. Another chance is that they will restrict by specific GB-given standards who can partake. E.g. they may declare that only persons among those higher-up may partake, such as Nethinim(TM), zoners, or Branch committee-ers.

    All this is plain speculation of course, but hey, all the GB decrees are also of the same speculative quality.

    Fernando- Your list is list one of many interpretations. Several of the Fundamentalist/Evangelical groups believe the 144,000 are literal Jews (our favorite got hit in the head at birth former President George Bush being among that persuasion).

    Where did you get "anointed" partakers in the subject?

    The number is just those who ate bread and drank wine at a specific time. Does not mean they have been anointed by holy spirit.

    Any increase simply means more people eat and drink at the memoral.

    To claim that anyone butchered any truth, one must know it first. Has any other religion proclaimed a truth about heaven?

    No, since there has been no proof that anyone has been resurrected to heaven after death.

    All it is that they take Jesus words and want to be with him. A fairy tale fantasy.

    Good point about partakers vs. "anointed". Yes it would not surprise any if the GB started using the term 'partakers' when publishing the numbers for the Memorial. By using the term 'partakers' instead of "anointed", it allows the GB quite a bit of wiggle room for the increasing numbers dilema.

    "Dear Brothers, last year's Memorial's attendance was a whoping 19 million. 14,000 partook but we cannot be certain that all who partook are truly "anointed" brothers of Christ. We are currently waiting on 'nu-lite' to be revealed. We will have the answer soooon".
