This shows me that they are able to take a passage from the LIE-ble and use it to guilt anyone for doing anything fun. Marrying outside "The Lord"? Guess where that originally came from? It was a command to the Jews back in ancient times. In those days, they did not want Jews and Gentiles intermarrying. Too bad Christi-SCAM-ity put it in their own LIE-ble. All to guilt people from marrying anyone they chose--even if it was actually within their own race and compatible with them, but happened to be of a different belief.
Everything else is just as bad. Not having fun after school? I can understand not selling drugs or shooting people because you lose a bet on the dice game. But, class trips and sports? How often does that lead to drunkenness, brawls, and people eloping? About the only thing it can lead to is missing an afternoon of field circus from time to time, or possibly even missing a boasting session. Big deal.
The whole religion is about taking the fun out of life. No Christmas. No birthdays. No jobs that are "too enjoyable". No after-school trips, or often even regular class trips. No taking real vacations--if you do take a trip, you must do boasting sessions and field circus. No having money without donating it all to the Worldwide Pedophile Defense Fund. No going online to research things without the washtowel bias. No careers, except Beth Hell and pious-sneering (or, for men ONLY, being a hounder or assistant hounder). Marriage is so ritualized that sex is not fully enjoyed (even if they are compatible--and there is no way of knowing with the no-fornication rule). And now, even those in their 50s and 60s are hounded to pious-sneer.
