but it occurred to me that if there was truly one, it would standout, so far out, that no one on earth could question its authenticity.

Absolutely. I make this point all the time. If God really had an organization he would make sure that it was accurate, dependable, trustworthy and correct 100 percent of the time. What possible reason would there be for God not to do this?

Wouldn't God in all his wisdom, know that by allowing false and erroneous information to be dispensed by his channel of communication, it would make that channel or that organization unreliable?

Wouldn't God be interested in making his organization unquestionably trustworthy beyond reasonable doubt? Clearly he would. Even an idiot CEO of a news organization would do everything in his power to make sure his organization provides accurate and timely news information. The very success of his organization depends on it? We would expect God to do an even better job, especially considering that the concept is that God can do anything.

When the WT org tries to explain that they received increasing light, they are, for all intents and purposes blaming God for not being able to provide accurate information in a timely manner. This in itself is ridiculous!

Good points RV2000 (hey that sounds like a cool motorhome)

I agree wholeheartedly. How insulting to God.

Kind of ironic now that the WTS. leaders of this publishing house now admit the organization has made some mistakes

concerning the end times with specific dating, stopping short of course as to have to NOT fully reveal why these dates were

purposefully created in the first place in attracting attention to the literature the organization produced.

The REAL truth concerning this religious publishing house is that it used the end times doctrine to also incite fear into its

readers and devout members to distribute their literature further in the door to door preaching work.

Exploitation of the basic belief in the bible and exploitation of people who believed what the WTS. were saying created

a symbiotic commercialized fraud which cultivated both power and money toward these men.

The ending result of all of this in actuality was a unfortunate blight onto humanity itself.

The rank and file member honestly thinks they are spending their time spreading Good News, when in reality it is just printed material

with very little merit, and a whole lot of nonsense in it.

The do this because a myth about the Governing Body has been made to seem extraordinary.

Since the early 70's, a gradual transition in how the Watch Tower society is run has steered everything away from specific teaching about

exact dates toward a hard-wired reverence and awe for the knuckleheads who make the shit up in the first place.

The closer the members get to simply clicking their heels and obeying orders the closer the religion has come to being a full blown cult.

The total lack of realistic skepticism among members is evidence enough that they have been scared into believing it is a THOUGHT CRIME

to listen to anything critical--even if it is hard evidence of trickery.
