GAYLE: Seems to be a little more circumstances that parents are not turning on their kids that are leaving JW life and beliefs. I hope that these parents who are soon enough going into their aging processes, are realizing they need their kids no matter.
I think this change in attitude of so many middle-aged parents regarding turning in their kids (or even shunning them) has more to do with the fact that these parents have been promised that they would be in Paradise by now, and nothing that was promised has come true. They are all having doubts and they are not willing to alienate their children or grandchildren. Many, I suspect, are worried about their children & grandchildren missing out on the same opportunities that they did because they trusted in the WTS and it's false prophets.
