Just out of curiosity, how many elders (current & ex) do we have here? (page 17)

Hortenisa said on page 7 It isn't exactly equal here if you all keep attributing some sort of significance to someone's being/have been an elder. That is all part of the wtbts, and I thought you all had left the wtbts behind? Elder or not, what kind of person are you now? What are you in the REAL world, not the WT world?

I agree it is not equal........... sisters would have had to be appointed to really indicate how many elders would be on this site. Least we forget....... the Sisters we served with were often more then capable to take any lead position. Perhaps that's why the WTBTS seems like it operates with half a brain!

Without a doubt there are one hell of alot more active elders 'listening' in on this forum than you think.

These new electronic devices make it very easy for elders to visit here without leaving a history of websites visited on their device.

A number of these devices have 'Anonymous or Incognito Tabs' for example.

So bro. elder or bro. elder's wife, for that matter, can visit JWN or any other 'apostate' site by way of the 'Anonymous Tab' and not worry that wiffy or hubby will find out. These tabs are designed to automatically erase any history after logging off or closing the website page.

Elders and their wives are by nature meddlesome, nosy, and inquisitive and are bound to visit here undetected. So our thanks to WT for requiring elders and their families to invest in this latest technology!

As the old saying goes...'if you play with fire you'll get burned....if you play with a knife you'll get cut....if you play with a gun you'll shoot yourself...and if a JW stumbles around the internet he's bound to happen upon JWN'!!!

I was an elder from 2004 to 2007. Got caught red handed back in December of 2006 by my fellow elder and brother-in-law on this site. We had an IT lab at my office with an internet connection, and he saw the browser open to this forum. I stepped down a couple of week later and was eventually disfellowshipped a few weeks after that. Would have been nice to have an "incognito" tab back then

JW Gone Bad: You are absoulutely right! Elders and their wives just can't help themselves! Meddling drones. There are ALOT of people waking up and the internet is becoming a double edged sword for the org. Ha! The Bethel Boys are on here too (reading and watching). They can't help themselves either.

The org is shooting themselves in the foot. Watch...it's gonna be fun. It will never completely go away but the best revenge is affecting someones cash flow. It's already starting to happen. Many Millionaires go bust...I've seen it before.

Current elder unfortunately. Just too damn trapped to leave yet. Taking it slow mainly for the wife. It's hard to nudge your spouse out while still going to indoctrination sessions. I am making progress though. I'll be damned if I let those bastards steal my mate.
