One of my 1st yrs out of the org, I didn't want to stay home and I had no friends/boyfriend. So I got dressed up and went to a club alone. I just acted as if everything was normal and went around chatting with other people. It was better than staying home.
Or you could get on jwn at midnight and post this:
Thanks rebel, thankfully my family are not JWs and I have organised a night out with my nieces and SIL, as lukily they had nothing planned. So I will have a wing girl my SIL.
Good for you for going out alone, I did that my first missed thursday meeting, it was liberating
