The W.T like to quote the oldest Manuscript evidence, when it suits them, is the "me" in question in the Codex Sinaiticus ?

Phizzy : is the "me" in question in the Codex Sinaiticus ?

Interesting answer to this. The text of Codex Sinaiticus for John 14:14 is :

εα τι αιτηϲητε με εν τω ονοματι μου εγω ποιηϲω :

If some you might ask me in the name of me I will do

However, in the translation of this verse on the Codex Sinaiticus website it translates it as :

If you ask any thing in my name. I will do it.

Isn't the real hurdle to cross in the question of how the reader might perceive the meaning of either translation?

Of course, that's why we have the WT literature, it doesn't matter how WE read it, they will tell the reader what it means.

Generally, it is often difficult to know what the original author may have written.

Yahweh does a bloody lousey job of preserving his "truth."
