Last year was the first one I've ever missed. I don't plan on going this year, but my dad is somewhat pressuring me, saying he wishes I would go and that he doesn't ask for much. I live very far from my parents, so they would only know if I went or not by what I tell them. I don't want to lie and say I went when I didn't go, but I don't want the guilt trip either when i tell them I didn't go. Love them to bits and don't want to disappoint them, but I truly am out mentally and physically and have no desire to go. Grrr, I hate this.

Sadly I think I'll have to go. When I stopped going I promised my mum that I would still go to the memorial and I'm really not looking forward to all the love bombing because I haven't been in a while. I also told her that I'd go if she had a "talk" which is a couple weeks before, they're gonna think that I'm coming back in and be even more pushy and annoying

ANY Memorial could be our last.

not going. last year was just that- my last year. Havent been to a meeting since. We will probably reflect on the meaning of the day as a family at home and review a few verses.

A Watcher is right..." ANY Memorial could be our last." Just ask these folks.
I heard it from a very reliable source that 2 witnesses were involved in an auto accident on the way to the memorial. The driver, a baptized Brother, was killed instantly. The passenger, an Elderly pioneer, was rushed to a nearby hospital for aortic surgery. I do not know if she survived the surgery.
Here is the report: http: http://www.mshp.dps.missouri.gov/HP68/AccidentDetailsAction?ACC_RPT_NUM=130178905
Thanks angels!!

I heard the talk of the last one Memorial since 1980's. Every attendence was hinted that it may be the last one. 30 years later, they say the same nonsense. For many JW it will be certainly the last one as noone was able to reverse the aging and dying. Either way, the Memorial is pitifull observation which does not correspond what Jesus had said.
