Do the maths. Why does god hate Afghans?
It's not very likely you'll be become a JW if you were born in the UK/US, let alone Afghanistan.
About as much chance as you'd have of becoming a Brahma Kudaris if you're not born in India (although the age of transatlantic travel by aircraft and internet communication has significantly reduced the barriers to such international cultural infusion).

Having left the JW's and spoke to countless, literally hundreds of people who have asked me about the witnesses, not one of them, not one, was informed or had any knowledge of JW beliefs or stands, beyond no blood, no christmas.
I have met people with JW relatives, I have met people who have elders in their family (one girl has a dad who is an elder but they dont talk religion), yet all of these people have NO IDEA what the JW's believe and they are all from the UK.
It is not enough that the JW's go door to door and that people know they are some kind of bible group, that does not count as spreading the message. At a push people may say things like "dont you think you are the only ones going to heaven, just a set number" and that is from maybe two people, but that is as near as people get to the 'good news' of WT and I am talking about people from the UK, from Europe.
I have friends from the middle east, Palestine, Saudi, Kuwait, Iraq. They literally know NOTHING of JW's. My friend who has a HUGE interest in theology simply said "isn't that an American cult?"
JW's think they are taking a message to the people of the world, in reality they are just pissing people off on Saturday mornings. Nobody outside of the witnesses know their teachings. Anyone who hasn't studied with them in the last 5 years is also hugely out of date as they have had monumental doctrinal changes in that time period alone.
What a mess, what a joke!
I was a witness because it was the religion of my birth. Just like most people are what they are based upon the beliefs of their parents. My guess is that no matter what I was raised to be, I would pretty much end up where I am right now - which is not a witness!
BTW, this is a really dumb question. Do witnesses actually use this arguement? It makes no sense.
Thanks folks. Yes New york they use that arguement and it doesn't make sense. LOL
A friend from Vietnam, never heard of JW until he came to this country.
Ask them if they have visited this website: http://www.pewforum.org/2012/12/18/global-religious-landscape-exec/?
Now ask them to do the math. Why are there 1.6 billion Muslims and only 8 million JWs? If the end is so soon, why hasn't Jehovah helped open the minds of non-JWs for JWs to convert to the WTBTS like God did to the Jews for Jesus Christ?
Peace be with you and everyone, who you love,

A college classmate summed up his appreciation for my being raised a JW, "You believe in bothering people at home when they are enjoying their pancakes after working hard all week." Lately, I get belly laughs. I'm not going into the traumas I faced with casual friends so I play it for laughs. I might say I may have knocked on your family's door one weekend and asked if you believed in eternal life. People bend over and laugh so hard I think they will burst.
No outsiders find JWs a Communist threat or danger to their church any more. I add a few cult facts to show that the religion is serious. People don't want me preaching to them about the evils of the JWs. I might say I had to see the school principal to plan to go to a foster family. It was not funny when I was so young. Most people know Armageddon. I act out waiting for Armageddon on some mountaintop.
The only sympathetic audience is Jewish students. I discuss the perils of being in a minority religion.
Abiblestudent (website) "People who belong to other traditions
that view themselves as Christians (Christian Scientists, Mormons
and Jehovah's Witnesses make up about 1% of the global Christian
population". Humm would that be considered a great crowd by JW
standard. LOL
