You can be put on the Do Not Call list. Of course, mistakes happen, and JWs might accidently call on you. And I believe elders are sometimes sent to make sure you still want to be a Do Not Call.

Please understand those who come to your door are victims of mind control. Kill them with kindness...to do otherwise will drive them deeper into the cult.

All us here used to do this when we were in the cult and we can testify that most of us didn't want to do it! Likely neither did the JWs who showed up at your door.

Can I ask you Keith, why you don't like religion?

It is true that religion causes many problems in the world today.

I have a magazine here which explains.......

If you don't want to be bothered by JW's, put a sign on your door that says, "Jehovah's Witnesses: I am an apostate. Good bye." The "A" word is a real turnoff to them. Almost every person on this forum is a JW "apostate," i.e., a former JW. We are now awake and thinking for ourselves.

“keith85”: Well put! My sentiments exactly. One idea you might want to try is actually printing out your post word-for-word, laminating it, and posting it somewhere on your front door. Or you could have a custom weatherproof sticker produced professionally, perhaps using screen printing or computer cutout type like they do for office signs. There’s nothing like your own personal touch to get the message across. These JWs need it spelled out for them.
