At least I would be looked back on fondly LittleToe! It's crazy that this kind of thought would even enter my mind - it just goes to show how wrapped up in this damn religion I am!
It's the old thing where every action has a defined consequence. We get those "experiences" at the convention where some brother/sister has a seemingly innocent "worldly" association, and one thing leads to another, and next thing you know they get into drugs & other unmentionable depravity as they dissapear into the gutter. We are all consequently frightened into submission!

Hi All,
My husband and I both went back to school and earned degrees prior to leaving the JW's. After graduation, our financial situation steadly improved. I suppose Jah had decided to bless us in spite of the fact that we weren't that consistent with meeting/service participation!
Now that were out, I have no doubt that our successes are being attributed to Satan. It's kind of a "damned if you do and damned if you don't" thinking.

I know way back when after I da'd myself from what I later heard it raised all sorts of eyebrows when they found out I joined the US Navy.. LOL Suppose I was suppose to just up and die or something for that one. Wonder what they thought when they found out I went to the Gulf War for 10 months.. hehehehehe
Oh well it don't matter what they thought because like stated above they will always bring it back to Satan some how. Good post!
