Just watching the news just now and another old man has been killed by burglars.
What would you do if you found an intruder in your house?

Do you feel its right to disable them in some way , if you can?

    Would you let them run?

If you felt your life was threatend or that of your family would you go so far as to kill?

Or to put it another way, if your son was the burglar, and was killed by the occupants of a house he was burling , would you hold them responsable or is it your sons fault for being there?

If I think I can take the f*er out, he's going down. If my family is in danger, we TANGO. If all else fails, get the family safe and RUN LIKE A GIRLIE MAN.

His fate would depend on whether or not he froze upon seeing the laser site of my Glock 19.

The only way I would kill someone would be if I thought one of my family was in danger.
I would never truely feel justified tho'...because in my mind I would have robbed that person of a possible relationship with Christ...that would really bug me.

Wait until you wake up to find a stranger tromping around in your house... Armed or not, they will scare the $#!+ out of you!

I learned this from experience. I've had my house broken into twice, once while I was sleeping. I'm ready for 'em next time!

In the state of Texas, it is legal to shoot and kill ANY intruder in your house. Knowing that the law is like that, I'm amazed that people still break into houses here.[8>]

I came home from the meeting once to find the house ransacked by a burglar. So much for Gods protection.

It made me feel angry for ages.
If I encountered someone in my house I don't know whether the fight or the flight would take over.
I suppose it depends on how big and how many.

I would batter them using buttermilk and flour with salt and pepper. Then I would deep fry them at 325 until golden brown and toss them into the lion cage at the zoo.

I think it's right to do whatever you have to do to protect yourself and your family. They made a choice to be in there and so they should accept all the possible consequences.

If the dog didn't get him, the my 9mm would. That person has no right to be in my house. And if he comes in my house when Im home, and my wife and kids are here, well I think he wants more than my TV so hell yes I would put a hole in him.

I did catch a burglar in my home back when I lived in San Jose. He was coming in through the window and was very shocked to see me standing there with my handgun. I sternly told him to freeze and then to come in the rest of the way or I would shoot him.

My wife called the police and I did smack him across his face once. He was very scared. Seems since the truck I leave out front was in the shop he assumed we were on one of our little weekend trips. The man was 20 and lived around the corner.

Another time after that a burglar was caught inside our home by our protection trained German Shepherd. The man had the nerve to file a lawsuit against me from prison. Seems the injuries to his leg caused permanent damage. It was thrown out by the judge.

Now I live in the country where at night I can't see a single neighbors lights. We never lock out doors and our only dog is a cowardly cowdog. You can have your city life.

Oh and yes, I would kill anyone that was a threat to me or my family. I would not lose a moments sleep over it either.
