JWs do not share the mind of Jehovah!

Jehovah’s Witnesses are a teaching and preaching organization.

However, history shows that teachings do not make people self-motivated to do good or to be spiritual. (Mathew 23:37, 38) Hence God will not choose an organization to serve no purpose! In fact, He simply denounces preachers, teachers and miracle-performers. (Mathew 7:21-23)

Prima facie, the viable and wise option, the only thing that can make one self-motivated to do good or to be spiritual is “Sow and Reap” principle (Galatians 6:7) which God ensured to run as an unmistakable thread from the beginning till the end of the Bible. (Genesis 4:10-12; 9:6; Deuteronomy 24:16; 1 Kings 8:32; Job 34:11; Psalm 62:12; Isaiah 3:10-11; Jeremiah 31:29-30; Ezekiel 18:20 ; Habakkuk 2:3, 4; Mathew 16:27; Romans 14:12; 1 Peter 1:17; Revelation 2:23; 20:12; 22:12-15)

In fact the so-called teachers often do disservice, interpolating things which will be pleasing to the ears of the listeners! (Acts 20:28-30; 1 Thessalonians 5:20-22; 2 Timothy 4:3) When the Bible Canon was fixed centuries later, scrolls that had already contained some of the weeds/unhealthy teachings of those early centuries were also included! Jesus graphically picturized this very situation through one of his illustrations! (Mathew 13:25, 26, 30) Hence you will find very healthy, solid, and self-explanatory teachings and their opposites in the Bible!

    This is one sample:

Be imitators of God who does good to both “the evil and the good.” (Mathew 5:44-48; Compare Deuteronomy 1:17 and Romans 2:11) (Contrary to this very true, self-explanatory truth, this unhealthy teaching: “Shun those who are not of our sort; should not even greet them” was introduced later. (Compare 2 John 10)

This type of thoughtless interpolations gave rise to over 41,000 sects!

2 Cor 13: 5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?

Can a JW really imagine Jesus in them??? Not hardly, so they fail period!!!!!!

"The fact is that far more crime and child abuse has been committed by zealots in the name of God, Jesus and Mohammed than has ever been committed in the name of Satan. Many people don’t like that statement, but few can argue with it." -Carl Sagan

(1 Corinthians 2:15, 16) 15 However, the spiritual man examines indeed all things, but he himself is not examined by any man. 16 For “who has come to know the mind of Jehovah, that he may instruct him?” But we do have the mind of Christ.

Why does the WTS talk constantly about God then and having a relationship with him and not with Jesus?

Because Jesus is against organised religion, which always is good in the beginning, but ends up as great human rights violators! (Mathew 7:21-23) JWs very well know that Jesus is concerned only with fruitage, not teaching and preaching. (Mathew 7:17-19; 21:43)

That is a very apt, and bold observation!

Watchtower, September 15, 1895: "Beware of "organization." It is wholly unnecessary. The Bible rules will be the only rules you will need. Do not seek to bind others' consciences, and do not permit others to bind yours."

    -------

"The endeavor to compel all men to think alike on all subjects, culminated in the great apostasy; The union of the early church, based upon the simple gospel and bound only by love, gave place to the bondage of the Church of Rome a slavery of God's children, from the degradation of which multitudes are still weak and suffering" Zion's Watch Tower 1893 Sep p.264

We belong to no earthly organization; hence, if you should name the entire list of sects, we should answer, No, to each and to all. We adhere only to that heavenly organization- "whose names are written ih heaven." (Heb. 12 :23; Luke 10: 20.) All the saints now living, or that have lived during this age, belonged to OUR CHURCH ORGANIZATION: such are all ONE Church, and there is NO OTHER recognized by the Lord. Hence any earthlv organization which in the least interferes with this-union of saints is contrary to the teachings of Scripture and opposed to the Lord's will-"that they may be ONE."

We can't even grasp the mind of YHWH fully, according to the bible. We can have the mind of Christ. JWs are fixated on a materialistic and earthly way of worship. They are obsessed with "JEHOVAH of the Watchtower", the Organization and human gurus. They really do put their trust in nobles. They do not examine things spiritually or even truly examine all things, but they do attempt to examine others, and judge them.

They are told what they want to hear, for example, " You will never get old or die. You are special. You are the thinkingest people on the planet."

If I were God I would be completely offended at how the dubs try to put me in a box with their simple explanations.

Can you imagine if God was really the way the JWs portray him? If he was a person I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be winning any father of the year awards. I'm always reminded of the God of the JWs by a friend I had when I was younger. Her dad was always promising to take the family to Disney or some such place but always had an excuse when it was time to make the trip.

Sounds a bit like armageddon to me.
