Avoid or call them back?

  Daughter missed a call from an elder tonight...we've missed meetings for about a month now. She is dating a worldly guy and I'm sure someone has seen them together. Makes us nervous and with us being fairly new to the fading facet... should she call or avoid. It seems to be the general suggestions to avoid them. Any takers on this question???

  AVOID them> they have no authority over you> SINCE YOU are new to the fading<< allow yourself plenty more time.

  Hi Angus Beef, Why do you want to play by the WTBTS's rules? Avoid meeting with elders. Block phone calls from elders. Do not answer elder's questions.

  If the elders do contact your daughter by dropping by unexpectedly, thank them for their convern, ask them to call before stopping by unannounced, and to tell all the elders that you will contact them if you need any help.

  Just tell the elders that whatever they are worried about is a 'family matter' and will be handled without their help. Thank them for their concern and tell them you will call them if you need their assistance. Please do not call or drop by unannounced.

  And whatever you do dont meet with two elders , if two elders come to speak with you ,tell one to take a walk ,you will not talk while two elders are present , that is where they will trap you .
