It's absolutely amazing what EXACTLY THE SAME EVENT can do to the JW community and the exJW community.

The difference is that the JW community does not think and has the expected response... we think and, of course, have the exact opposite response as the JW's.

Take for example the March KM with the "will this be the last? We don't know."

Here are some comments from a JW site:

Wow it comes like that in the KM? Father Jehovah only you know because you tell us beforehand my heart just skipped a beat

Wow there's no doubt that Jehovah by means of the FDS is telling us all so let's take the opportunity to thank Jehovah and be aux pios.

(One with cog dis or just maybe someone who thinks a little... feels bad for having common sense):

Brothers read the context of the KM it is not good to reach conclusions, more important it is good to prepare our hearts for the things coming sorry don't want to offend anyone with what I say...

then... two comments later... someone else who thinks a little:

Remember 1975, we can't speculate or reach conclusions of what has not been said... what is said is this - pray, preach, make our faith stronger and obey those who take the lead...

This guy asked the question but with a different twist than exJW's...

The slave asks WILL THIS BE THE LAST MEMORIAL and answers: we don't know. Well if they don't know why do they ask????? attention those who have discernment...

Anyways... if someone likes to do a sociology study of JW's and their honest reactions to what is said... It can be done now, through Facebook...

The reactions are there... The KM teases the JW's and they go crazy over that...

Hi ILoveTTATT, Instead of going crazy reading JW's posts on FB, go out and have some fun. Be happy that you will no longer be victimized by the WTBTS's BITE control techniques.

Have you read Mt 15:13-15? Some people might interpret it as Jesus is very uncarring. I interpret it as Jesus was being realistic. The Pharisees and Sadducees used BITE control techniques to victimize Jews, and Jesus knew that there was little that he could do to overcome that thought control in the leaders and followers. Sometimes you just gotta to let go and live your life to its fullest.

Help those who you can with your language skills by translating JWfacts' webpages to Spanish, so that you feel less crazy.

Peace be with you and everyone, who you love,

    Robert

It's like holding a carrot in front of a donkey, knowing it will never get to eat it... it just keeps him moving forward without questioning where he's going or how long it will take. Keep that carrot dangling! Gotta admit, the GB has lots of carrots and knows how to use them. The 'shonkeys' (sheep donkeys) just follow in pioneer pace...

They go crazy because they do not think for themselves instead have the gb do it for them.

I see the same reaction that I saw in the early 70s the JWs are so trained to expect the big A, they read KM, Watchtower, and study books for any little hint of a coming date.

Thank you for sharing your observations here. I am one who is also very interested in watching how JW's respond to such blatant manipulation.

I was never quite submissive enough to join the ranks, but I got enough exposure to really have compassion for the people who are trapped by this BITE mind control. Now I am outside, witnessing the changes to members of my own family. My sister has taken on the new personality 100%.

I got a chance to talk with her about the July Watchtower, and it was interesting how she reponded to her first "new light." Me: "What did you think of that article and the changes about 1914?" She: (blank stare, extended pause...) "It made sense..." (???)

Her husband jumped in with, "I just wish they wouldn't spend so much time talking about what we USED to believe, but tell us what we believe today, so we can move on." (???Really???!!!)

A recent comment from my father, regarding the amazing new JW app: "They are smarter than me!"

I appreciate your sharing these comments here. I don't have the discipline to do Facebook in moderation.
