I have decided that organized religion and spirituality have no place in my life. I simply do not believe that there is a higher being and I REALLY don't believe in the whole "Jesus died for our sins....give yourself to Jesus."
I have come to the same conclusions myself. Religion is something that has been made by men. To be spiritual is somethig that is a personal quest. No one can say their way is better than anyone elses.

The truth is that there is only ONE Self. IT becomes operative when the person gets out of the way, so to speak. We are really all ONE. That's why there is no fear and that's why you spontaneously "love your neighbor as yourself". The experience of this means the death of the person (self, ego ). It is a transformation and there are no barriers because the truth is that all opposers are blind to their true nature. There is only compassion. We are in union by our very nature(ONE Self). The WTBTS teaches that we become One by understanding or believing the same thing. That type of union is a union of egos by consent. It cannot hold up because the individuaal egos are afraid and are seeking to perpetuate themselves. The individual egos( selves) must cease to exist then the truth of union in the ONE Self becomes apparent and there is no fear of the other persons. In this state you are not imitating anything. You are authentically animated by a new perception. This is spirituality and it differs greatly from religiosity, piety, and community.
