Since she is a Doctor you can very well Bring up the Blood Issue. Why Blood transfusion is not accpetable where as Blood Fractions are Ok. United Nations tie up and all those stuff.

You know, I'm really thinking about this now. (love that picture, Outlaw! haha)
Our BS conductor told us about her, and said "Our doctor is a JW." I guess we took his word for it. Is it possible she isn't actually a JW, but likes the connections she gets from them? I don't know where she lives, but her office is not near the territory where we live. Maybe she just pretends to be a JW, and allows them to leave the magazines there for her many JW patients.
I never asked her. I didn't really care one way or another, but we did mention to her that we were studying, and with whom. I don't know now.
I have seen WT literature at many different doctor's offices, and emergency rooms, etc. My sister works at an urgent care center, and she is throwing them away every week.
Maybe she is a JW fraud. So far, she has given us reasonable medical advice, and is good about referrals and helping us with special claims needs.

I wonder what she does when one of her patients, or better yet an anemic patient would greatly benefit from a few pints of blood. Does she pass the patient on to another Dr. or does Sister Doctor actually prescribe blood when needed. That's something that her patients need to take into consideration if they know her JW standing.

Hi Faithful Witness, If you want to find out if your doctor is a JW or not, secretaly start writing www.jwfacts.com or www.freedomofmind.com in permanent ink (or attaching permanent stickers with QR codes) on the JW literature in the doctor's office. If she is a JW, she will tell you that someone is defaming WTBTS propaganda in her office.
Peace be with you and everyone, who you love,

Not really Bible Student, what Dr. actually checks thru all the magazines in there waiting room? Although it was mentioned that her husband acts as the receptionist, I guess he would tell her, but a Dr.s got lot's of things on their minds, why would she make it a point to tell her JDub patients what's been written on the magazines in the waiting area.
The more I think about this women being a Dr. and a Dub, I wonder how she skirted over the blood issue while she was in medical school, that is if she really is a Dub. All that's needed to find out her Dub standing is to ask her how she feels about prescribing blood for her patients and watch her facial reactions and listen to see if she doesn't give a definitive answer. If she can't answer directly and firmly it's time to find a new family physician and perhaps report her to the board if she doesn't believe in administering blood.

Hi ShirleyW, A "Spiritually Strong" (non-thinking) JW's persecution complex might mention it to her patients. Faithful Witness wrote that it is a family practise, so it is not as busy as clinic in a major metropolitan area. A non-JW in a family practise (or in clinic) wouldn't mention it at all. Besides Faithful Witness could ask the doctor if she had visited the websites that were written on the WTBTS propaganda if the doctor does not mention it to her to learn if she is a JW without asking her any suspicious questions.
Peace be with you and everyone, who you love,
Robert

You do know it is possible for someone to convert to a JW later in life right? My father was in the Air Force and went to college. He became a JW after that. He was an elder as well and sent me to college.

Since when are GPs/family doctors ever in a position to "prescribe blood" or "administer blood"?
