I don't know about a sitcom, but I think a drama like Big Love would work.
A JW sitcom?

Jay's Wit: about guy named Jay who always try to elder brother named Elder.
The Witlesses: about a JW family who have a poor sense of humor. They do dumb things, and people laugh at them and they'd always end the scene with, "Persecution!(sighs)"
The Time is 19:14: a man always having comical apocalyptic dreams and always waking up at 19:14 am!
etc

Maybe the husband gets up everday at 6:07, to prepare for field service. They could handle family issues, just like the Cosby's... Perhaps the children are having nightmares about demons. After carefully searching the house, the Father finds a Wii-fit YOGA game under his wife's side of the bed? She was trying the Wii-fit Yoga game for her back. She has some issues because of not warming up properly before washing windows and mopping at their cleaning job. She failed to realize the seriousness of Wii Yoga. That's when hubby breaks out the WT articles.
In the end they decide that she should get a prescription for Vicoden, since working out is too time consuming. Now she takes her pain pills and reads the latest at JW.org every morining, instead of exercising. To be "balanced" they decide to go to the park after field service. The shoe ends with the family getting heat-stroke in their dress clothes while playing a non-competetive game of catch.
