What book do they study with ''newly interested ones'' ?

It's still the Bible Teach book, no? Then if they finish that, they are moved on to the Draw Close book.

It's the Bible Teach book then "Keep Yourselves In God's Love" which is a replacement for the old "Worship" books.

"Listen to God" is a brochure used to study with those with limited reading ability/eyesight.

I think they are trying to lure people in with the "Who is doing God's will today?" brochure. It's the one that was released at the "God's word is truth." DC. It's the brochure that reintroduced the "spiritual mother" teaching. If you buy that, then you are a prime candidate for the "Bible Teach" book. That new brochure is aimed at the uneducated and unwary.
I magine that many people were refusing the "Bible Teach" book, or taking it and never studying, or tossing it out. The cheaper tract is an introduction to the Organization that may lead to a "bible" study, or so they hope. I don't think things are going well in the bible study dept. A friend of mine was all excited because they just came back from a foreign country. He said that people are going out and strating 6 bible studies a day sometimes! Praise the GB!!! Then he said, " Of course, not many keep studying, but we are out there!"
So "starting a study" really amount to asking someone, " Can I come back and talk about this again?" If you do that a couple of times in a row, it's a "bible study." It takes time to stop counting a study as well. They are so precious to the stats that you can't give up right away. Many pioneers have "studies" for months on end, even though they never really had one to begin with, or it died a week after the initial call. Makes you wonder about their stats, but I digress..

Yes, it is the What Does The Bible Really Teach? book. The Doing God's Will brochure is studied along with starting pretty early in the program to get the student familiar with the organization.

I stand corrected. "What Does the Bible Really Teach?" followed by "Draw Close to Jehovah".

I think all these bible studies are just door step return visits that people are claiming to be bible studies on the time sheets. I remember when I placed a bible teach book with someone that was really looking to change religions. I was excited to go back since i thought I mite have a bible study out of it. When we reached the guy at home finally he said "no thanks im not interested because of the no holidays and birthday teaching" This also helped to wake me up some more for I started to think that these man made rules were acctually driving people away from our religion.
