Now What?

  Her Ladyship's gone down to Pompey to visit the crazy woman who calls herself her Mother.

  No 1 son is sweltering in St Petersburg Florida.

  No 2 son is entertaining his girl-friend.

  No 3 son is playing football for the umpteenth time this week.

  So, I'm all by myself till tomorrow!

  Should I therefore:

  Finish the garden? Tidy up? Go book another holiday? Buy a digital camera? Clean out my car (Philo calls it my "shed")? Watch a blue movie? Visit the pub?

  So many choices. It's a lovely day, I've got a couple of hundred unexpected £££'s in my pocket too.

  Any ideas?

  That sounds wonderfully relaxing!
  The garden for sure!
  I cant plant anything yet, its a little cool here. I have seen some tulips popping up though!
  After gardening I would take a long hot bubble bath, give myself a facial, manicure and pedicure, complete with nail polish. Later I would probably meet my sister or friends at the mall for shopping, coffee & gossip.
  If you dont feel like shopping or cant decide which polish to use, you could always stay here and bond with us!
  I think your wife would get a kick out of the hotpink nails though!

  Be altruistic, send the extra pounds to me as a personal charity. Then, go chaperone the son entertaining his girl friend don't want to be a grand dad again yet do ya?

  Ha! Do all of the above in your post and then some! You've got plenty of time for an hour or so gardening, watch a match, see a movie and then off to the pub. Tomorrow out to breakfast, and then shopping or something. Can even do some reading!

  Clean out the car so you'll have somewhere to put the nice new digital camera you buy on the way back from the pub which you will need to take pictures on the holiday you booked on the way to the pub.

  You can watch the movie when you get back

  Sod the garden and tidying up - life's too short.

  I checked out some digital cameras at Dixons, biked there, too. They have a 2 million pixel job for about £175, is that enough pixels?

  Oh yes, I ignored the car, cooked a chinese meal and now I'm off to the pub.
