TheWiz,
For every single assembly, the wbts has told it's followers this:
People know who we are and why we have gathered in their city. Thus, our dress and grooming is a powerful witness in itself. The majority of Jehovah's people set a good example in this area.I hope you reflecterd the same attitude of
MYO-F-Band dressed the way you wanted to and were comfortable in and did not worry about what kind of impression you made to people watching you. Afterall, God doesn't care what we are wearing when we worship him. Or does he? I guess that depends on which men one follows.
Of course you couldn't do that. why? Because then there would be NO imagined persection, and at the same time, NOTHING to puff up all the wbts' followers for! That's right...NO pats on the back from the WBTS.
sf,
I don't blame you one bit for being concerned that JWs may live right next door to you, especailly knowing you have children and JWs are taught NOT to respect parents wishes of not wanting cult members talking and influencing thier children. Please try and remain calm though. Once you know if they are cult members of the WBTS, I would send a certified letter to the local congregation AND to their leaders stating that you will press charges against them if they come knocking at your door, trying to put your minors in the beginning stages of their indoctrination procedures. Please send your letters CERTIFIED if that happens. I know from experience that thay hold parents wishes and rights to protect their children from cults, as important as they do protecting children from pedophiles being right at your door. Which means they don't respect either, at all. Certified letters work because the wbts' only concern is to save their own asses ,and to hades to anyone else. Phone calls will do no good. It has to be a certified letter. They only respond to certified letters for the reasons I just stated. The
legal instrumentused by JWs don't want to pay any monies for any
legaltroubles. Some leaders, eh? Nice "legal instrament" they are to those "of their sort"!
peace,
somebody
