I serious do not understand that topic dung, and What's up with this God of the Witness.. I'm not a Witness, But The Jehovah Witness has the same God just like everybody else. They just Call out
God's personal name... Same with the muslims, allah, or Other use Yah-Weh.... There is only 1 God, There are false God's-Idols and In the bible They call satan the god of this world...Anyway, y'all act like I'm leaving.. Ha, lol. I posted this topic to see Why is this board call a jw board and they have bout 5000 members who aint'agreeing on the same thing.. That's why I said that I see visions of noah day, Cause in noah days, nobody listen and only 8 survive> Everything is repeating itself, Just now it's on a Wider scale...

I dont understand That topic Guest77, What you getting a? anyway I follow Jehovah God & Jesus Christ, therefore We all have to be watchful.. I like living is this life, but living forever on the earth in paradise is alot better...Trust me, you do not wanna get caught up in armageddon.. U2K, for someone who can implement multiple typeface change tags in a single post, you strike me as being a singularly too intelligent person to say things like this. HMMM. Very interesting...but anyway, to answer your question: We LUUURVE talking about the Bible! Which bit do you want to talk about:
1. Noah's Ark, and why small gene pools (take them 2 by 2) are a very bad way of saving a species.
2. Noah's Ark, and how the hell Noah managed to get all those animals out of the Amazonian rainforests on the other side of the Atlantic, or how God made them swim across the ocean, like, magically, dude!
3. Noah's Ark, and how geneticists have proved that it is utterly impossible for the human race at any point in time to have been as low in number as, say, the 20 or so who were on the Ark. Unless some people camped out on the peak of Everest, that is...
4. Eve, who was apparently created from the bones of Adam, when all genetic and biological evidence insists upon the fact that men are really just modified FEMALES.There are so many more things I could talk with you about the Bible. Oh, and these "end time" prophecies. Sheesh, really. If you took a bus every day, and every day you got on that bus, the same guy sitting in the same seat at the front whacked you on your nose, would you continue taking that bus? (Discounting sadomasochistic tendencies, that is?) I think not. So, why do you insist in believing all these "end time" prophecies? The Dubs you talked to on those other boards have been having the same message harped in their ears by the GB all their lives, i.e. "any day now" and "real soon now". It gets a bit boring after 125 years, believe me. You do know that the Dubs were convinced the end was coming in:

1925
1930
1975And many more dates in between, which I have left out?
Wake up, dude. DO SOME RESEARCH, and stop blindly following what others say in really old books full of fairy tales and angry tribal gods. Think with your OWN mind.

U2K; This board is for discussion of anything related to Witnesses; we know this because it says so at the top! It's run by an ex-Witness, which means that people are free to post what they want, within reason - many boards for Jehovah''s Witnesses operate strict censorship of posts. As it's run by an ex-Witness and is free of censorship, many who post here are also ex-Jehovahs Witnesses.
The Jehovah's Witnesses are a cult, or as some people say, a high-control group. They try to control what information you are exposed to, who your friends are, and use the threat of being shunned (not spoken to) by everyone you know to keep people in line. They have predicted various ends of the world, and none have come true. Thus many people gather here to exchange their experiences and to get information about the cult, as part of a recovery process.
There are a few 'real' Witnesses here, but they are either on their way out and are gathering knowledge otherwise denied to them, or are delussional sad-sacks who would be disfellowshipped (shunned) by the Witneses is their fraternisation with people on this site became known about in their congregation (church), but who think they have some special ministry here, or exemption from the rules.
I say this to you as you are not a Witness and may be ignorant of why there needs to be such a thing as a site for Witnesses AND ex-Witnesses where people can speak freely.
Now, I have questions for you U2K, some of which I've asked before but which you have ignored. A pity; is your faith not strong enough to answer them? I will rephrase them;
1/ You have mentioned the sign of 'people declaring true peace and security'. This has happened before, in the eighties under Reagan, after World War I with the advent of the Leauge of Nations, and before World War II. None of these events has been the sign of the end that people at the time though it was. What makes YOU right NOW? Everyone else who has predicted the end of the world has been wrong; why are you right?
2/ A strange question perhaps; have you had any connection to Rastafarianism? I ask as your manner of expressing yourself is reminiscent of someone I once knew.
3/ What makes you think the end will come like it says in the Bible? What makes you think the Bible is true? It is filled with falsehoods. Why will the end not come according to some other book, or have you just decided the Bible is right and that you are right and are going to ignore everything else? Remember, people have strange dreams all the time, and the world hasn''t ended. If you believe in the Bible, did you know by prophecying the end you are making yourself liable to destruction in Gehenna as a false prophet if you are wrong?
