What do Jehovah's Witnesses Believe?

Jehovah's Witnesses are interested in you and your problems. They feel their beliefs are most obviously inspired of God.

Jehovah's Witnesses do believe that they should be teaching Biblical truth. But they themselves are perfect, inspired, and infallible. Take them literally. When it comes to religious teachings, the Witnesses strongly endorse the course of emotional fulfillment and not mere agreement with the 'inspired Scriptures'.

Many prophecies of the Old Testament, or Hebrew Scriptures, to which they apply speculations, indicate they still await fulfillment. (Historically, they have been fulfilled. Except, all of us understand the Bible to be figurative, or symbolic.)

It is of vital importance to God that you tell more people about how they have made mistakes in all their activities. Preach this in your discussions with them: "You want to live like everyone else, to have normal physical and economic experiences? This is test of the world! Diligently consider these needed corrections to your mind. Or else!...This brochure..."

Make friends with Jehovah's Witnesses. Have you heard of holy spirit? They received accurate guidance from it 66 times!

They will not feel at all God's expressions prepared for the others (religious creeds)!

Of course they rely on welfare. They urge you to make a dedication to their organization.

    Let us pray!

Dear Jehovah God, through the name of your son and reigning king,
Christ Jesus, we humbly come before you in prayer, and ask that our
humble brother Beans be given only the finest Barley and Malted Hops
beverages that you have provided for us, and thank you for the loving
provision of inebriation which has been demonstrated so fully by Sister
XXX, who has massive cans and can drink more than most
sailors. And so Jehovah, as your humble and loyally united servants,we
leave this day and in your care and keeping, so that the Ale can bear
full witness to the heavenly establishment of your kingdom, and we look
forward to the day when the earth will be restored, according to your
will, as the eternal Oktoberfest that you had originally intended for
Mankind, complete with serving wenches who know their proper place below
men, and a bounteous harvest of Wine and Spirits which will come in
handy to settle our nerves when we see those formerly dead people start
crawling out of their graves, just like in that Thriller Video. And all
these things we ask, through the name of your son and our King-of-Beers,
    *AMEN*"

    Brother Beans,

That was truely an inspiring prayer. We elders feel that you have matured so well in the past few years, that you can take up the added privelege of service and join us here at the Kingdom Hall in the elder work. We meet every Friday evening at a different elders house for a keg party, err, I mean for a special meeting.

    Hey Larc,

Remember those good ole 80's, when there was a 30 min coffee break between the meeting for field service and field service?

    Those were the days!

I suppose you may have left by then, however. What were your 'good ole days' like?

What you guys dont relize is we are living in the promised earthly
Paradise they promised us. How do I know? well I was reading "The Time Is At Hand"published in 1907 Page 99 told me...This
"In view of THIS STRONG BIBLE Evidence concerning the Times of the Gentiles,we consider it an ESTABLISHED truth that the final end of the kingdoms of this world,& the FULL establishment of the Kingdom of God ,will be accomplished by the END of A.D.1914
( then on page 101 they say)
"Be not surprised, then, when in subsequent chapters we present proofs that the setting up of the Kingdom of God is already begun that it is pointed out in prophecy as due to begin the excercise of power in A.D. 1878 & that the "battle of the great day of God Almighty" which will end in A.D.1914 with the complete overthrow of the earths present rulership ,is already commenced:
So my friend quit your bitching about any troubles you think you have
we are now living in that paradise we went knocking on doors for...

I find it humorous that they use the bible to "prove" that the "Bible is God's Word and is truth"

    Bible is God's Word and is truth 2 Tim. 3:16, 17; 2 Pet. 1:20, 21; John 17:17

With that reasoning, I can use myself to prove that I am god. [8>]

Is this so JWs don't get confused and think that God is more powerful than a piece of 'wood or stone'?

What about all the scary images in JW literature? and on the WT webpage?

Spiritism must be shunned Deut. 18:10-12; Gal. 5:19-21; Lev. 19:31
Isn't God a spirit? And isn't there harmony between 'spirit and truth'?

    I am confused now too!

One person's paradise is another persons hell.

I love the smell of fresh cut grass, will there be lawn mowers?
Will I know anyone who does not like this smell? Will we live in separate areas? Or will this joy be taken away from me for the sake of the one that doesn't like it? Or will I just imagine this smell whenever I want?

This paradise on earth thing is very complicated.
After preaching the first part of it do they ever go any further since they are supposed to know exactly how it will be?
Pet lions, have lots of food, no more allergies.
Who will work in the factories that make toilet paper?
If it is me will I be changed to think that is paradise?
Will every bit of individuality be erased from god's memory chip when I am re-created except the number of hairs on my head?

Serious questions for those that know what they hope for.

And be careful what you wish for. Some can go to a tropical island and call it paradise, others can't stand the heat.

If a JW would like to feel what it is like to live without corruption all around, why don't they step out of the box and experience life and quit dwelling on the negative...it is not very up-building.

My idea of paradise is to live in an ethnically diverse rural community where a black man in a check shirt and a straw hat collects wheelbarrows full of vegetables, while small children play with lions. Oh yeah, and there should be a big red barn in the background, and some parrots.
