Some on this forum may remember the thread where I was gushing uncontrolably about my daughter graduating high school and receiving her AA from the local community college. She will be attending Gonzaga U. in the fall, btw.

Anyway, just gushing a little more. This Friday is her 18th birthday, then she'll be graduating H.S. and C.C. next month. For her extraordinary efforts, I'm suprising her with a new car! It's a Saturn Sport Coupe. It's white with pinstriping, and has the little 'whale tail' on the back. I'm picking it up today, but I have to hide it until Friday, when it'll be presented with a giant bow tied to it!

Hey, anyone interested in buying an '84 Subaru GL?(her old car) Low miles, clean straight car. LOL! Hey Simon, you need to create a 'want ads' forum.

You've raised a very special young woman. Congrats to both of you.

If my son's drum set will fit in the Subaru I might be interested (seriously).

    TR:

I personally love your gushing! You are a proud papa, and I think that's great. Your daughter sounds like a great kid, I am so glad she is going to continue her education.

Even though we lost our daughter to that awful cult, she was her class validictorian, and could have gone to any college she wanted...but she pioneered for four years instead...what a waste!!!

What's your daughter gonna major in, does she know yet? Tell her congrats for me...and keep up the great job of being such a supportive dad!

    Thanks, you guys!

    Sabine,

She is concentrating on forensic psychology right now. Who knows where that will lead, though.

    Jeff,

I live in Spokane if you want to check the car out.
