Psalm 51:17 says, “My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.”

As the evidence mounts, and fingers are pointed at the Governing Body for their complicity in the 'child abuse cover ups' ,

...will they ever get down on bended knee and show truly broken hearts?

The closest thing to that would be if they broke out in song by the Bee Gees,

    Otherwise , I doubt it

Well, to have a broken heart, you need to have a heart to begin with, so......

    No.

Mind you, when Herbert Armstrong died and his Church splintered, the new leaders issued public apologies for all the past 'errors' taught by the Worldwide Church of God. But look where they are now, a fractured shambles. Dictators thrive on UNITY (UNIFORMITY) and they NEVER apologise!

The only thing that will break their heart is their organisation (VISIBLE golden calf) going bankrupt.

    Repent though?

    Never!

I don't thing they will ever bring themselves to imitate King David by truly repenting of their misdeeds.

Mind you, David was a booger-wooger, but if anyone can read the 51st psalm and still harbor ill-will toward David, I submit that something is wrong with that person.

They don't have a heart to break. Their mission is to preserve the organization at any cost and if human beings are sacrificed on the way it's just the cost of doing business.

Nicely put...Guy Pierce certainly served that mission...what a legacy.
