Where was I before I was born ? that reminds me of an old put down when I was a know-all teenager "Listen sonny, I was in Bhagdad in uniform before you were in your dad's bag in liquid form".

I wouldn't actually worry about questions which cannot be answered, until Blondie comes back, I would worry more about how I am spending this life that does exist.

Neuro-biology has made great strides in recent years. All the evidence indicates that we think of as us, our conscious experience, is the product of electro-chemical activity in our brains. When the brain stops working, so do we. I've no reason to suppose there will be any after-life and I'm basing this life on the assumption that there isn't.

Death it's not an event of life.

You cannot experience death, so in first person your life have no end.

Like it have no beginning too, or do you remember exactly when you become self conscious? Same thing when your conscience will disappear.

For you, life has no end and no beginning, enjoy the while.

Maybe we get lucky and we can live again, who knows? Our existence is possible, and if the universe is eternal we can exist again.

The subject seems not be part of object world, we can't point to a "thing" in our brain, or even in our minds, and say this is the knower. We identify ourselves with something who knows everything but can't be known.

It's a very strange world, don't expect to be certain of much thing. Always base your views in doubt.

Einstein said "now Besso (an old friend) has departed from this strange

world a little ahead of me. That means nothing. People like us...know

that the distinction between past, present and future is only

stubbornly persistent illusion". In fact, it was Einstein's theory of

relativity that showed that space and time are indeed relative

to the observer. Quantum theory ended the classical view that

particles exist if we don't perceive them. But if the world's observer-

created, we shouldn't be surprised that it is destroyed with each of us.

Nor should we be surprised that space and time vanish, and with

them all Newtonions conceptions of order and predictions.

So if we all agreed to not look at the moon it would not exist? Really?

(So if we all agreed to not look at the moon it would not exist? Really?)

If have no subject to know what is a moon, it would not exist.

What is an object without an observer? Certainly the objects share many universal traits, but they have some traits who just an subject can perceive in a unique way. This trait are located in the object itself?

Materialism is like classical mechanics, it are very useful in a way, but it can't explain the subject.
